Scents by Sounds
Scent by Sound was a collaboration with Quenington Sculpture Trusts bi-annual show Fresh Air within extensive gardens known for its collection of rare plants. The audience navigates a trail blindfold by using proximity sound sensors, scents and textures only. Designed with with the help of people who are blind or visually impaired, Scents by Sounds is a development of my interest in creating work by people who are differently abled.
Workshops and guides were available to give more information on the work. Audio content by Sound Artist Lee Berwick, plant sourcing and research by Ella Chapman and the sensors made by Cubik.
